Advanced Business College’s (ABC’s) balanced curriculum offers students a firm grounding in the fundamentals of clear thinking and expression — with emphasis on individual development.
Our six academic departments all offer traditional core courses as well as a variety of electives.
The comprehensive curriculum offered at ABC:
• Fosters broad exposure to all disciplines
• Allows students the opportunity to discover and pursue in depth special areas of interest
Academic Expectations
The expectation at ABC is that students — as well as faculty and staff — energetically and enthusiastically devote significant time and energy to the pursuit of learning.
The seeming tension between these two objectives — breadth and depth — is monitored in each student's schedule with the help of the adviser, dean, and, as appropriate, college counselor. Each student graduates from ABC with a program that:
• Makes sense for him or her
• Fits each student well
• Introduces each student in a comprehensive way to colleges
While grounding students in the core of each major discipline, ABC's academic program allows those with special talents and/or well-developed interests to specialize in an area of strength or passion.
