Advanced Business College was born out of the conviction that everyone has a role to play towards the overall development of our dear nation, Ghana. The development of every nation depends, to a very large extent, on the quality of its human resource. Ghana, as a developing nation, requires a well educated human resource, if it is to develop into a middle income country within the foreseeable future. Over the years, however, greater percentages of persons who qualify for the various institutions of higher learning do not gain admission into them due to inadequate facilities.

It is for this reason that the Founder/Promoter, having obtained the requisite academic qualification complemented with enough professional experience, and the Principal decided to establish Advanced Business College as their contribution to solving the problem of human resource development in our dear nation, Ghana

Advanced Business College was registered with Registrar General’s Department as a company limited by shares on 9th September 2005, on which date the Certificate of Incorporation was issued to the College. Registrar General’s Department followed up with the issue of the Certificate to Commence Business to the College on 12th September 2005.

ABC, desirous of ensuring that it lives up to its reputation of churning out good quality graduates, who will either fit perfectly into today’s world of business or pursue academic work, it has ensured that it provides the right teaching and learning environment.

It can be said without contradiction that the quality of faculty members of every College is the most critical investment that every College, worth its salt, should make. Advanced Business College has therefore taken the necessary steps to ensure that the faculty members are persons who are highly qualified and have many years of experience in the academia. These are persons with diverse background who together ensure that students of ABC are given the right education or skills comparable to any, offered by a College in any part of the world.

All the lecture rooms of ABC are soft furnished. The lecture rooms are air conditioned carpeted. The chairs are very comfortable to sit, even for long hours.

ABC has well fitted up-to-date library. The library is connected to online library from IOTA. It has subscription with many magazines of international repute.

ABC has computer laboratory which is equipped with brand new computers with TFT monitors. All the computers in the laboratory have twenty four hour connectivity to the internet. All students of the College have 24 hour access to the laboratory, either for direct assignment by lecturers, research work by the student or group study which requires the use of a computer, internet or both.

In order to ensure that students have access to good and balanced diet food and snacks whilst they remain on the premises of Advanced Business college, the management of the College has taken steps to ensure that various types of food and snacks are served to the students at affordable prices. Students therefore have no problem with food, if he or she decides to spend the whole day on the premises of the College.
