It is announced for the information of prospective applicants and the general public that application forms for admission into HND Programmes at Advanced Business College for 2008 / 2009 academic year, September admissions, are now on sale.

•    HND Marketing
•    HND Secretaryship and Management
•    HND Commercial Art in the following  options: Graphic Design, Textiles and Screen Printing

General Entry Requirements

A.    GCE ‘A’ Level Applicants
i.      Five (5) GCE ‘O’ Level credits including English Language and Mathematics  AND
ii.     A minimum of two (2) GCE ‘A’ Level passes in relevant subjects. A pass in General Paper will be an         advantage.

B. SSS Applicants
Passes in three (3) Core subjects including English Language, Mathematics, a science subject and any three (3) relevant elective subjects, with an aggregate score of 24 or better.

C. Other Certificate And Diploma Applicants
•    Five (5) GCE ‘O’ Level credits including
•    English Language & Mathematics  or
•    Four (4) SSSCE passes including English Language & Mathematics and
•    A certificate from a recognized higher institution, or
•    A diploma from a recognized higher institution, or
•    A degree

D. Teachers
•   Four-year Certificate ‘A’  or
•   Three-year Post Secondary Teacher’s Certificate   and
•   Four (4) GCE ‘O’ Level credits or four (4) SSSCE passes including English Language and     Mathematics,  and
•   At least a minimum of three (3) years teaching experience

E. Mature Applicants
•   Must be at least 30 years old.
•   Must have five (5) GCE ‘O’ Level credits including English Language and Mathematics or four (4) SSSCE     passes including Core English and Core Mathematics.
•   Must have at least three (3) years working experience. Must pass a written aptitude test (English
    Language, Mathematics, General Knowledge) and an interview.

Certification for the HND programme is by the National Board for professional and Technician Examination (NABPTEX)

30th April 2008.
